eSUN Releases New Optimized PLA+ and ABS+ Filaments

PLA filament and ABS filament are not only the classic 3D printing supplies, but also eSUN’s marketable products. In order to meet the users’ constantly increasing demand for the products, based on the users’ feedback, eSUN’s R & D personnel has released two updated products after repeated testing and improvement, namely, PLA + and ABS +.

 

First of all, let’s acquaint you with the changes of PLA: PLA is extracted and purified from corn grain. It is a kind of natural biodegradable and environmentally friendly material with high rigidity, good glossiness and transparency, which makes it suitable for printing larger models. The original properties of PLA have been basically remained for the optimized PLA + whose toughness has been greatly improved at the same time (its toughness is 10 times more than the PLA on the market); there won’t be wiredrawing problems, and the printing will be smooth, and the surface of the printouts will be smoother and more delicate; in addition, cracking problem and other problems have been resolved. PLA+ can completely replace PLA in the application.

 

Ten colors have been released for PLA + filament so far, namely light blue, pine green, brown, purple, gold, green, silver, black, red and orange.

 

PLA + Printing Parameters:
Best print temperature: 190-210 °C
Base temperature: 0/65 °C
Feed speed: 30-90mm / s
Idling speed: 90-150mm/s

 

Here are the features of ABS + filament:
* With good melt mobility and smooth printing;
* With high toughness, hardness and rigidity, and good scratch resistance;
* More suitable for printing objects with large corner;
* With good heat resistance and oil resistance;
* The surface can be polished by using acetone and easy to be colored;
* 23 colors of the original ABS have been remained.

 

ABS + Printing Parameters
Best print temperature: 210-230 °C
Plate temperature: 100-110 °C
Feed rate: 30-90mm/s
Idling speed: 90-150mm/s
