eSUN’s first phase of Creative Maker Activity in August-“Magic Pen Ma Liang” is coming

Last Saturday,eSUN held the Maker Activity stage one in ChaiHuo Maker Club this month,which is focus on “Finding Magic Pen Ma Liang”.  

Though intensive shinning can’t stop all maker’s curiosity and enthusiasm towards 3D printing,ten group of family arrived the site and seated around the table at 2pm,next comes amazing time.

At first,iSun’s 3D lecturer made basic knowledge of 3D printing universal among all the people,including printing principle,printing method,common 3D printing machine and supplies and so on,which gave primary understanding of 3D printing technology to participants.
     Next,the lecturer showed us how to operate 3D printing pen and some precautions of it.This is the first time for almost all makers to know this kind of pen,they were listening very carefully and also passionately.

 After that,comes to the most interesting and fantastic link,all attenders will create something special by using 3D printing pen. 

In order to promote people’s participation and children’ creative passion,the origanizer set the competition rules as follows:each group of family has one hour,during this period of time,parents and children use 3D printing pen to freely make out things on transparent card covers together.All people chosen and voted the most creative card cover,each of top six will get one mysterious present.

 The competition started!

For not familiar with operating 3D printing pen,these new makers tried on paper and desktop first to find some inspiration.Shortly afterwards,intelligent makers grasped the pen’s using skill,small house,pyramid,machine gun…appeared on papers gradually.They are really MaLiang who has magic pen,wonderful!

Of course,it was part of this competition,one cute boy with top hat was seriously describing his ideas on his card cover.The same to other children,they made self cutting ferrule plumper and plumper. 

Every group of family were manufacturing their works intently,and the activity had came into countdown.So looking forward to final presentation. 

Let’s have a look at these lovely gifts,wow,they are 3D printed animals,even dinosaur is also so cute and lifelike. 

Now time is over,eight group presented their DIY cutting sleeve,the little boy or girl gave their work’s brief introduction.Can you guess who is the champion?

You see,the magnificent “flame volcano” in the middle won first in this activity,it gained nine votes.This volcano is fascinatingly designed and has strong three-dimension effect,what’s more,it fully makes use of 3D printing pen’s feature.The maker is so creative that all viewers applauded for him.

We call him Funny little prince,and he was awarded “Tyrannosaurus Prize”.The little girl was wearing unparalleled “Fashion glasses” for it’s her Dad and Mom made for her…At last,these little makers took a group photo to mark the occasion.
