eSUN releases new ePC filament

On the contemporary society, 3D printing technology is experiencing a rapid growth. As the most convenient and operability 3D printers, FDM 3D printers have drew attention from makers, especially its feature of cost efficient that contributes makers to improve their demands for special filaments.

In order to meet constantly improving request of customers, eSUN always consider research and development of 3D filaments as a priority course. As a result, eSUN has already released Wood, PETG, Bronze, Cleaning and color changing filaments. Recently, eSUN released ePC filament with features of transparent, high strength and environmental friendly that attracts attention of makers, especially it reaches UL94-V2 flame retardant level.

Compared with traditional PC filament, ePC has better FDM printing performance with much less edge warp condition.

“The usability is always an crucial element when we are developing new filaments” eSUN research staff said, “Besides, the feature creation, material optimization and flow-ability that ensures smooth molding process and avoid waste also are important conditions that should be taken into consideration in the research process.”

In fact, the filaments testing result indicates that ePC filaments has great advantage on its high strength and high flame retardant level, besides, other features, such as, transparent color and high distortion temperature make it suitable for industrial application.
