Focusing on Flexible and Elastic Materials and Applications: eSUN Formnext Germany Post-Show Recap!
On November 21, the Formnext 2025 exhibition in Germany concluded successfully.
Through dialogue between materials and users, exploring new industry trends through communication, eSUN focused comprehensively on flexible and elastic 3D printing materials and downstream applications at this exhibition, demonstrating the company’s strong capabilities and future potential in material R&D.
01 First Debut of Single-Component Elastic Resin and Integrated Solution, Receiving Strong Response
At this exhibition, eSUN officially released its single-component elastic resin 3D printing solution.
Centering on a brand-new single-component elastic resin, the solution surpasses traditional two-component materials in ease of use, cost control, and performance, fitting the manufacturing needs of flexible and elastic products across multiple industries:
- Footwear customization: optimizing comfort through structural elasticity and mechanical rebound;
- Rehabilitation and medical: meeting needs such as lightweight design, high flexibility, and custom fit;
- Engineering scenarios: showing high adaptability in damping, flexible linkage, protective structures, etc.
Thanks to the material’s intrinsic advantages and strong application feasibility, the solution drew extensive inquiries on-site and became one of the highlights of the exhibition.
02 Full Upgrade of FDM Elastic Material Matrix: International Debut of the PEBA Series
At this exhibition, eSUN’s PEBA series materials made their international debut.
Together with the TPU series, the PEBA series forms a more comprehensive flexible–elastic material matrix—covering a wider hardness range and addressing more diverse functional requirements.
The matrix further reflects eSUN’s deep technical accumulation and R&D capabilities in material synthesis and modification.
Professional visitors from various industries showed strong interest in this flexible–elastic material system.
In addition, as a “veteran” in the 3D printing material field, eSUN also presented a more complete and systematic display of engineering materials and consumer-grade materials at this industry event.
03 Engineering Material System Upgrade: Unlocking More Possibilities for Industrial Applications
Focusing on industrial applications of 3D printing, we presented a more extensive engineering material system, including anti-static, flame-retardant, lightweight, high-strength, impact-resistant, and high-temperature materials, enabling customers to choose from a broader spectrum of options based on strength, size, and functional requirements.
This not only refreshed many users’ traditional perception of the brand but also demonstrated eSUN’s continuous breakthroughs in engineering material development.
04 Material Aesthetics and Creativity Resonating Together, Bringing 3D Printing Closer to Daily Life
During the exhibition, eSUN’s aesthetic materials and diverse creative works continued to attract attention.
The encounter of material aesthetics and creators’ inspiration enabled more people to directly experience the practical potential and unique charm of 3D printing in daily life.
Connecting a new 3D printing world through materials—over the four-day exhibition, we reunited with old friends, met new ones, exchanged insights with industry partners, and received valuable feedback.
As a company deeply rooted in materials for over 20 years, eSUN firmly believes: materials define boundaries, and materials create possibilities.
In the future, eSUN will continue investing in material R&D, application expansion, and ecosystem development—from flexible–elastic materials to engineering materials, from consumer-level innovation to industrial-level performance breakthroughs—using materials as the fundamental driving force to connect the broader 3D printing world.
Looking forward to seeing you again at the next grand event!
