Building a Mini Home Farm: 3D Printed Modular Hydroponic Tower
Driven by food safety concerns, ancestral instincts, or pure enjoyment, many urbanites are becoming “city farmers,” cultivating plants on balconies to nurture both body and soul.
Recently, eSUN collaborator @tys3dprinting used eSUN ASA+ to create a modular hydroponic tower:

The modular hydroponic tower is an assemblable and expandable vertical farming system for soilless cultivation.
A pump draws nutrient solution from a reservoir into tubing running through the tower. Gravity distributes the solution evenly across each plant layer before it returns to the reservoir, forming a closed-loop system.
Compared to soil farming, these space-saving towers offer customizable height and efficiency for limited spaces.
Their modular design allows users to expand planting capacity as needed.
eSUN ASA+ delivers excellent aging resistance and UV stability, maintaining mechanical properties outdoors.
Key ASA+ parameters:
In addition to ASA+ materials, PETG/PET series materials are also suitable, offering structural strength, water compatibility, non-toxicity, and durability for eco-friendly farming.
